GRIZAS SIZING

Please read the description of the garment carefully. Fits vary by style and personal preference. Some of our garments feature a loose, relaxed, or oversized style. Size up or down as you please: if you want to achieve a snuggler look, you can go down one size. If the item is described as fitted or closer-fitting and you want to achieve a more comfortable fit, you can go up one size, and vice versa.

If you are not sure which size to choose, we welcome you to contact us so our team of experienced professionals could advise which size would be the most suitable for you. In your sizing inquiry, please provide your precise bust, waist and hips measurements in centimetres or inches.

If you have placed your order and you are still not sure if you ordered the right size, please send us your measurements and we will measure the ordered garments before shipping them to you.

 

SIZE CHART 

The size chart of the item is found on the right side of each product page under the product’s name and is titled ‘‘SIZING & CARE’’.
 

 

To help you choose the perfect garment’s size, we provide individual dimensions for each garment in the size chart. Please note that the measurements are approximate, calculated and based on the degree of shrinkage or elasticity of the product.

We measure all items horizontally laid flat and only measure the width. If you want to find out the circumference, simply double the listed measurement.

 

GARMENT'S MEASUREMENTS

In our size charts you can find the following clothing dimensions:
Bust: we measure our garments about 2 centimetres below the armpit to find the most accurate bust measurement.
Waist: we measure the waist in the natural waist line.
Stretched waist:  many of our trousers and skirts feature an elasticated waist, so we recommend to evaluate the stretched waist measurement to help you choose the size more accurately.
Hips: we measure hips at the widest part of the natural hip line.
Length: we measure the length of the garment from top shoulder to the end of the garment.  
Front length / back length: as some of our designs have shorter front length and longer back length, we specify both measurements.
Sleeve length: we measure the sleeve length from shoulder seam down. If there is no shoulder seam, we measure length from where the shoulder would be.  
Sleeve width: we measure the sleeve width at the widest part of the arm (biceps area).

 

MEASURING GUIDE

To achieve the most accurate dimensions, we offer the following recommendations:

 

1. To get your bust measurement, measure your chest around the fullest part of your bust while wearing a bra that fits well.
2. To get your waist measurement, measure the narrowest part of your waistline.
3. The doubled stretched waist measurement, specified in the size guide, gives you the measurement that fits the size of your waist circumference.
4. To get your hip measurement, measure the fullest part of your hips.
5. To get your sleeve length, measure from your shoulder to your wrist bone where you would like your garment sleeve to sit. Always slightly bend the elbow when measuring to allow for extra length.
6. To get your sleeve width, measure around the thickest part of your arm to get accurate arm width measurements.
7. To get your outseam, measure from the top of the waist down the leg to the floor or ankle (depending on your favourite length or style). Compare it to our provided trousers/skirts length measurement.
8.  To check the fit of the dress, jacket, coat or overall length, remove all shoes and socks and stand with your feet flat. Measure the length from shoulder to bottom and you will see how the garment will suit you.

 

SIZES WE USE

Sizes XS – 3XL: they usually mark garments that are true to size, meaning you can generally choose the size closest to the size you normally wear.

If you would like to order a garment in a size that is not specified in the size selection (for example, XXS or 4XL), we can produce it on your request, please contact us and provide your measurements.

Double sizes S/M – 2XL/3XL: they refer to oversized and flexible clothing that is not constrained or clearly defined. This marking includes two adjacent sizes.

Universal size marked as U: it refers to universal fit, which has a wide range of flexibility. If your ordinary size is XS, keep in mind, that universal size can be as oversized as 3XL size.

Universal size marked as O/S: it usually refers to the scarves and accessories that come in a single size. Please refer to the Sizing & Care chart or item's description to find out the garment’s dimensions.

BODY MEASUREMENTS CHART

Please see the general GRIZAS body measurements chart. Compare your body measurements to the provided measurements to find the equivalent size. For example, if your bust measurement is 110 cm (43 in), your GRIZAS size is XL.

INTERNATIONAL SIZE CHART

We also provide an international size chart where you can find the size matching your country's sizing system. For example, if your UK size is 12, then GRIZAS size will be M. This size chart is based on general measurement systems in different countries and is widely used around the world. In order to select the perfect garment's size, we recommend relying on product's size charts and provided measurements.
