OUR STORY
Our story is woven from a deep connection to nature and a relentless pursuit of authenticity. It began with our own search for natural fabrics and silhouettes that honoured both style and comfort, yet were simply not available in the market. This personal need became the catalyst for our mission: to create clothing that embodies sustainability, individuality, and timeless design - fashion that aligned with our values.
GRIZAS collections are a tribute to thoughtful, conscious consumption, encouraging a deeper appreciation for fashion that honours both the wearer and the earth.
Our journey took a serendipitous turn during our travels, when we met a renowned family of silk weavers whose expertise spanned four generations. This connection not only led to a partnership, but also to the creation of our signature silk - a fabric that has since become a bestseller. In this silk lies our passion, our love for craftsmanship, and our commitment to preserving tradition.
From there, the first GRIZAS collection was born. Each piece was crafted with care, passion, and a sense of purpose. The response was overwhelming, and before we knew it, our first collection was sold out. The message of authentic, natural wear spread far and wide, and we have continued to grow, building trust and admiration through our commitment to quality and sustainability.

We are committed to eco-friendly practices, using OEKO-TEX® certified materials and repurposing fabric remnants to give them a second life. We embrace a zero-waste approach, ensuring sustainability at every step of our process.
Since the first GRIZAS garment, we’ve prioritised sustainable fashion and believe in combining tradition with modern design. While there’s still work to be done, we’re proud of what we’ve achieved so far:

ARTISAN CRAFTSMANSHIP
Our process is rooted in a range of unique techniques and tools that make each piece truly one of a kind. We use a hand-twisting technique to create a crumpled fabric effect, naturally distressing and crinkling garments to enhance texture. This is complemented by washed effects, old-dye effect dyeing, dip-dyeing, plain colour dyeing, and hand-painted prints that add distinctive character to every piece.
We collaborate closely with talented artists who create original, hand-drawn designs, which are then transferred onto our fabrics. All of our cutting, sewing, and knitting is done by hand, ensuring meticulous craftsmanship in every detail. Thoughtful touches such as raw edges, hand-knitted elements, and hand-sewn embroidery infuse each garment with a personal touch. Placement embroidery and delicate crocheted florals further enhance the uniqueness of every piece.
INSPIRATION
Every design at GRIZAS is deeply inspired by nature, with hand-painted prints created outdoors, allowing our artists to draw directly from the landscapes that surround them.
