WHO WE ARE | THE FAMILY
Years ago, while wandering through the clothing stores, we had a question: why was it so difficult to find modern, fashionable clothes made of natural fibers?
Just after I and my husband met, finished our studies and were looking for what the world would bring to us, we found ourselves talking and fantasizing about the same thing over and over again.
Clothes. Not ordinary. But different. Expressive. And most importantly – Natural.
Fashion has always been special to us. We were always different – wearing floating silhouettes in bright colours and laughing loudly, we often caught the stranger’s eye. Fashion gave us the chance to express our personality: whatever we liked and what we thought always came across through what we wear.
OUR STORY
We always loved travels and adventures, and while getting to know the world, the fortune brought us to the silk weaver, whose family of four generations manufactured silk. Not only we started working together, we also became great friends.
Together we created the most charming soft silk, which has become our bestselling fabric ever since. In this silk lies our love, passion and valued traditions.
Step by step we developed the first GRIZAS line. We put our heart to every garment created. Before we knew it, the first collection was sold out, so we kept going. Day by day, the message about authentic natural wear has spread over the world. We gained the trust and admiration of our customers for what we value the most.
OUR CONCEPT
GRIZAS designs feature contemporary, effortless fashion pieces with an artistic touch. Each garment is carefully developed from the first idea to the exceptional attention to detail by our talented designer team.
Created image is clean and independent, but distinguishes by hand-painted art prints and authentic textures. Comfortable fits, unusual layering with elongated silhouettes and relaxed laid-back shapes characterise GRIZAS style, that we hope gives women the confidence in their clothes and inspire them to feel free and exceptional.
For us, fashion and self-expression have no boundaries. We design for every woman: artistic, passionate, crazy and caring. We see beauty in every person. Size and age is nothing comparing to our true self.
ETHICAL VALUES
Since the very first garment created by GRIZAS, we have always believed in the importance of eco-friendly and sustainable fashion. The ability to combine traditions with modern design solutions is important to us. We support the necessity to adopt ethical approaches to production and distribution and we are happy to be going towards ecological fashion each day. There is still a long way to this goal, nonetheless, we are proud of what we have already achieved:
Slow fashion. We do not provide mass consumption: our items are made to order. All ready to ship styles we offer were also produced on demand.
Natural and sustainable. Our clothing is made using the finest quality certified natural silks and linens, sourced in Europe by trustful fabric weavers. Our materials are time-tested, long-lasting, planet-friendly and easy to care for.
Created for you. We love all women in their unique shapes and figures just the way they are, therefore all our made to order garments can be produced in a wide size range.
Local production. GRIZAS garments are created and produced under one roof in our production house in Lithuania, EU. Each piece is made separately for the person who ordered it, with a focus on quality, craftsmanship and attention to detail by our skilled professionals.
Made to last. High quality, long-lasting healthy and ethical materials, meticulous sewing and ageless design make the clothing durable and easy to wear season by season, for years and even decades.
Zero waste. We promote a zero waste policy and aim to minimise our production waste. We run a paperless business and use recycled sustainable packaging.
Family business. GRIZAS is owned by one family and all employees are treated as family members. We value each member of the team and treat them with the utmost respect, creating a safe, comfortable and happy job environment.
